This is part of the Noisebridge Booth for Maker Fair 2015 project

The project continues.

This was mostly a putting parts together night. It was important to use the sides of the table top to help straighten it out, cheap plywood is often warped. Not too many photos this round, but we are getting close to the wiring stage, which should be really exciting.

mmm biscuits

Once again we are using the biscuit joiner. The nice thing about it is that it is quick and allows a little play during assembly. This gives us time to line up the joint and make sure things are straight.

time to watch glue dry

In order to keep the pieces aligned we started using pocket screws as well. Despite reading the documentation, proper use of pocket screws remains something of a mystery.

Put the clamps to em!

Once a part is well aligned, we clamped the part and waited 30 - 40 minutes to set up. During this time we cut other parts and prepared other parts for gluing.

More to come.
