I am Drew, but apparently there's already a couple of Drews here. So, feel free to refer to me as mux. Or MUX. Or Drew. I don't care.
This is a picture of me with a cat.
I am new-ish to San Francisco, as of July 2013. Previous to here, I lived for two years in Mexico on my sailing trimaran 'TIE Fighter'. Prior to that I lived in Vancouver, Canada on the same sailboat. I am in SF for the next three years to work and save money for a sailing circumnavigation.
I have a number of hackerly interests, including but not limited to:
- internet/systems security
- cryptography/privacy (gpg etc)
- electronic music production
- ham radio operation
- Linux on a very large scale
- alternative energy systems
- offshore sailing
- track/fixie cycling
