technomadic cyberanthropologist, free culture advocate, linguistic alchemystic, open source muse.

i hack culture, language, people - not as a social engineer but more of a gonzo anthropologist. i am interested in new forms of storytelling using technology. i believe nature is the first and still most mysterious technology. principally, i am dedicated to hybridizing the hacker/maker, eco/communitarian/permaculturalist and psychedelic cultures so as to reboot society through peer-to-peer communication and the integration of nature and technology.

you can find me as 'tunabananas' on irc, and the internet more generally. writings can be found [1].

  • Room - Establishing a hackerspace in downtown Oakland devoted to, among other things, free education, citizen science, digital literacy, environmental sustainability and self-governance.
  • Pyre - Civilization has crumbled, and everywhere all things are burning. You have a multi-tool, a tiny laptop, and a 32GB USB stick. What's on the stick?
