Who's "we"? - comment left unsigned by User:Johnyradio

Danny. Referring to oneself in the plural first person is a standard british way of speaking. "We" are Noisebridge people who have discussed this idea, at the meeting(s) and on the mailing list. So this "we" includes you, johnyradio, if I remember the discussion correctly. 199.188.193.9 04:02, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Can we not call it a rebase? Reset, reboot, anything but rebase. Rebases are orwellian bullshit where history is lost and rewritten. It really makes no sense in this case. Is noisebridge local? Who is our upstream and what changes have they made that we would rebase against? Or is noisebridge the upstream? Then we must be rebasing something else to fit it.

Also, I'm going to go ahead and replace Request For Awesomeness with Request For Comments. Requesting awesomeness sounds like expecting other people to do things; these should be proposals for awesomeness and requests for comments about the proposal. 199.188.193.9 04:07, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

On reconsideration I like proposals for awesomeness more than requests for comment, so I changed it to that. 199.188.193.9 04:12, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

I'm gonna stick with calling this "Reboot" and add to prior page Reboot and leave this one for RFC template doc's, and I propose calling them RFE's "Request For Excellence".thex (talk) 17:08, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
