This Month on the Internet (TMOTI) is a show and tell sort of event where people come and share video and other multimedia projects they have made as well as interesting things people have found during their travels in the Tubes™.

lol wut?

Videos! On the internet! I'm sure you've collected a mental list of neat videos you've seen online that other people would enjoy, such as this one. Or maybe you produce content yourself, like this, and you're looking for an audience that would not otherwise see it.

when?

The last Saturday of every month at 8PM. Or 20:00 for those weird people that like 24hr time.

ooh, neat. how can I participate?

Give us videos! whether it be something you made or something you found online, get it to us and we'll play it.

For those who've created videos and have not yet published them onto a video sharing site simply bring the file in a flash drive or bring your laptop so we can play it.

For those wishing to present videos they've found online please send your links to Ani with the title "This Month On The Internet" so we can compile play lists before the event. Youtube, Vimeo, TED, collegehumor, etc, are all welcome.

We ask that you keep the total net length of all the videos you wish to present around 10 minutes to leave room for others (if you wish you can suggestion additional videos that we may or may not play at the end of the event if we have the extra time). If your created video is longer than 10 minutes or if you wish to show something from TED or another non-trivial video that takes up more than 10 minutes then we can make an exception but it will be your only video to show so make it count!

There is no filter on the kind of video you show but /try/ to keep it as clean as you can. If you insist on a graphically violent or sexual video please give a warning on the link you send and we'll give a short disclaimer before showing it at the event.

All links will be posted after the event onto the wiki.

Ani will be managing January's event, look for the chick with the grey/purple/blue hair (pink no longer).
