Noisebridge is a space open to pretty much anyone! We welcome anybody that likes to tinker and hack on things, and are generally nice. On average we don't appreciate people looking for a half way house to sleep in, steal things, or looking for free beer and people to annoy.

'''If you don't have any keys to the space''', simply press the door bell on the right of the gate labeled "Noisebridge" with tiny text. If there's someone in the space (most likely) they'll simply buzz you in.

'''If you know other people are already there''', simply use your existing key to open the front gate.  The two glass front doors should be unlocked if there are other people there.

'''If the glass front doors are locked''', you need a key to them.  This requirement will go away if/when the maglocks are installed.

== How to buzz the gate through the local network ==

To open the door through the local Noisebridge network at 2169 Mission street (not accessible through the internets):

====Awesome way from inside the space====
http://pony.noise/gate

'''OR'''

http://172.30.0.30/gate/

====Awesome way from the internets====
# Go to Noisebridge.
# Find a functional touch panel.
# Tap the "key" icon.
# Read and follow the instructions provided.

====H4x0r way====

SSH into our local server, [[Pony]], and run...
  opengate

'''OR'''

1) Open a ssh session as follows:
  IP: 172.30.0.245
  Username: user
  Password: live
2) Once you are logged in, open the "open-door" command at the shell prompt.

3) Anxiously await the entrance of an exciting new guest!

These doors should not, as a matter of course, be locked.  Previous policy was "You should lock the front doors as you leave if you are the last person in the building and it is not between 8-5 (any day of the week)." BUT so few NB users have keys, we have discussed with the landlord and we no longer are locking this door.

Both locks are double cylinder, for a total of 4 keyways.  The keyway closest to the southwest is damaged and doesn't work.  As a result, the procedure to lock the front doors is:
