Crew

Agenda

Introduction and Names

  • What Noisebridge is about: "Noisebridge is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides a space for creation, collaboration, and learning about technology and creative projects. Noisebridge provides space, power tools, and infrastructure to help the public learn new skills and create cool things. Noisebridge continues to exist through and depends entirely on membership fees and donations. Our code of conduct is 'Be excellent to each other'."
  • Round of introductions: What's your name, what do you do, and if you are new, how did you hear about Noisebridge? Start with the moderator and go left.
  • A brief primer on consensus process: We agree and so should you!

Announcements

  • Pwn Your Own is working at providing secure wireless networks for both testing and secure traffic of noisebridge patrons, we are looking for hardware to house these networks at the moment anyone who has hardware to donate please contact either Cobolt or RACK mailing list.

New Weekly things happening at Noisebridge

In addition to the ones already listed on the meetings form page:

  • Ruby Tuesdays is now happening
  • Carl or Alex is teaching Unity to people who show up on Wednesdays
  • Pwn Your Own Wireless security class went better then expected and is expected to be a good lead into Januaries wiretapping class (of which it should be made more vocal that noisebridge's open wireless network is not a secure network)
