16th and Mission is a 10 minute walk from the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_Street_Station_(San_Francisco) Church St MUNI Station], served by the Muni light rail K, L, M, and T lines underground, and the J, N and F aboveground.

You can get real-time bus arrival information from [http://www.nextbus.com/ NextBus].  You can plan a detailed public transit itinerary with [http://tripplanner.transit.511.org/ 511.org].

==Cycling==
Valencia Street is an official route of the San Francisco Bicycle Network, with designated bicycle lanes in both directions.  Noisebridge has a bike rack inside capable of holding five bicycles at a time.  For security reasons, storing bicycles inside is preferred; if there isn't space, bicycles could be parked outdoors ([http://www.sfbike.org/?theft with caution]), perhaps locked to a bike rack on Valencia between 16th and 17th, or attached to a parking meter along 16th.  There may be a relatively high incidence of bicycle theft in the vicinity of 16th and Mission.

==Driving==

Street parking in the area is difficult, since the 16th and Valencia area is a popular entertainment district.  There is no parking available on Wiese Street.  There is a commercial parking garage at 42 Hoff Street (Hoff Street is immediately across 16th Street from Wiese).  Several BART stations outside of San Francisco city limits [http://www.bart.gov/guide/parking/index.aspx also have parking available].  The driving directions below are to Noisebridge itself; if you'll need to park, you may prefer driving to the garage on Hoff instead.

=== East Bay ===

From the East Bay, take I-80W (across the Bay Bridge) to US-101N, exit at Mission (you will be going north on Mission at this point), right on South Van Ness, right on 16th, right on Wiese.

=== South Bay ===

From the South Bay, take US-101N, exit at Vermont, left on Vermont, left on 16th, right on Wiese.

Alternatively, take I-280N towards San Francisco and exit at San Jose Avenue, follow it to the left as it turns into Guerrero Street, right on 16th Street, left on Wiese.

=== North Bay ===

From the North Bay, take US-101S (across the Golden Gate Bridge).  Continue on US-101S within San Francisco (local San Francisco streets signed as US-101S are Lombard Street and then Van Ness Avenue) until it crosses Market Street and becomes South Van Ness Avenue, then follow South Van Ness, then right on 16th, right on Wiese.
