There currently is no dishwasher.

load dishes to full; load soap and close soap compartment; close dishwasher & choose setting; start dishwasher
 
 
if there is any leaking or wacky noise: stop dishwasher and assess the problem, report it to noisebridge-discuss if there isn't an obvious fix.
 
 
 
<b>Update 2011/February/3</b><br />
Ummm... yeah.  I "fixed" the dishwasher two months ago.  Plugged it in and turned on the water, to be exact.
Haven't heard a complaint about it since then.  Also got the powdered dishwasher soap sitting next to it.
Numerous dishes been cleaned since then.  Was not aware that it ceased to work at any point.<br />
