| Renewing May 23rd Consensus Item
REVIEWING as of Feb 27th, 2024
Updating blocking requirement for big C consensus items from 1 to 2 people. Currently in order to block a big C consensus Item, we need only 1 member to block. Would like to update this number to 2 members. Perhaps the 1 member to block made sense when the community was tiny. It doesn't make sense anymore in our much larger community. If you cant convince anyone else to block with you, then maybe you just have bad ideas. The community should not have to make changes only folks with bad ideas think are good.

This change would be provisional for 3 months [from May 23, 2023]. Also would only apply for member proposed consensus items, non-member proposed consensus items would still be block able by a single member. Also only 1 member would be required to block new membership. Also if any one member would like to block, but cannot because they are alone, they can request a 1 week hold to defer decision for an additional 3rd week.

|Fiscal Sponsorhip of zine. We receive adequate donations but we want them to be tax deductible, and potentially donate overages back to noisebridge. Zine01 expenses were roughly $320 to print. We project Zine02 to cost in the $500 range to print more copies and provide business cards to the editor. We have receipts if the community would like to view our records.

|Request for up to $300.00 of Noisebridge funds to improve the electronics area infrastructure. Up to $300.00 would be allocated for the cost of material  needed to build a 4th electronics bench, an equipment hutch for the bench, and a storage cabinet for the electronics tools at Noisebridge. Any direct donations to support this project would reduce the amount used from Noisebridge funds by an equal amount.

The electronics area is a high traffic area of noisebridge that needs another soldering & lab tool bench, and a better organized storage cabinet for electronics tools.  Currently lab tools are stacked on top of each other on the existing lab hutches, and electronics tools are taking up hacker alley shelf space in free floating bins that often get misplaced.

Previous funding for many improvements to the electronics area have come from direct donation, including 6 sets of member shelves and hacker alley, 3 existing electronics benches, user storage bins, and many other small items like castor wheels, fasteners, and shop tools for building. Even the uhaul rental for obtaining the hackitorium lab tables was an out of pocket expense. Help Noisebridge grow up as an organization by coming together to form consenso on this small funding request.
