Call for Talk Proposals http://www.talkshub.net

At Talks Hub we promote dialogue and exchange of ideas between artists, thinkers at large, scientists, curators, collectors as well as other people, through web-based group conferences aiming to interconnect scientific findings, philosophical approaches as well as practical know hows and personal views with various artistic experiences.

Themes. Discussions may use a variety of themes that might have a special meaning for artists, such as familiarization with scientific research findings, data interpretation and visualization, ideas and philosophies, exploration of art techniques and mediums, different angles of curating and collecting, as well as many others.

Submission. Proposals for talks should be transmitted using the form available on our website, section Call for Talk Proposals. Recommended deadline for 2013: 15 April. There is no application fee to submit proposals. More information about talks format and requirements at http://www.talkshub.net website.

Inquiring about diet hacker guy

Hey Noisebridge. I came by for the 5 minutes about a year ago. One of the speakers there talked about how he was scientifically testing diets for maximum weight loss and looking into the science of nutrition. The man looked to be about 27, had dark skin (perhaps Indian or Pakistani), and at that point said he had lost 30 pounds already. I was wondering if anyone knew of this guy or had a website or contact for him. I'm doing my own diet studies and was curious about what conclusions his studies brought him to. Thanks very much. 67.218.103.251 16:26, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Chi Gung and Tai Chi Classes

Hi Noisebridge,

I am interested in holding Chi Gung and Tai Chi classes at your space. Who should I talk to for getting this started? I would like to teach people how to alleviate carpel tunnel, basic body alignments (especially for knees, spine, and balance), and how to improve overall energy, mood, immune system, and blood circulation in the body.

Here is my website that is still in development: http://DaoistArtsExchange.com/

I am available to teach on Mondays from 3:30-4:30pm (which may change to a later hour after Aug. 1) Sundays TBA and possibly Saturdays.

If it is possible I would like to begin on Monday 7/23.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Best, Amber
