The CatchAllSensor project aims to build a small free software free/open hardware device for use in detecting movement when attached to a computer system.
The basic design is to make the cheapest sensor possible and will likely be built from the following parts:
Optionally, though nearly tripling the cost it, may be nice to add an Accelerometer and a case:
- Memsic 2125 Dual-axis Accelerometer
- A small 3d printed case
